Those are very important, highly respectable, and altruistic endeavours that we love, but sometimes we just need to take a step back and remember to have a good laugh, not to work so hard, have fun and enjoy life.
Bad Days provides plenty of laughs and entertainment with their new NFT strategy game featuring the characters from the cartoon shorts on YouTube that feature a very different look and perspective into some of our favourite superheroes on the days where they aren’t being so “super.”
We all love those superhero movies where they are running around saving the world, flawlessly executing each fight with flawless composure and way too-cool one-liners. Being super-human is great, saving the world and everything, but nobody can be perfect all of the time, and we all have our bad days, even superheroes! Bad Days gives us a hilarious, creative, and imaginative glimpse of the moments in superheroes’ daily lives that will never make it to the big screen.
The Bad Days cartoon series gives viewers a fresh and unique glimpse into the bad days of superheroes in the Marvel and DC universes, but it doesn’t end there, also covering shows like The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Walking Dead, a place where you definitely do not want to be having a bad day!
The series has become SUPER popular, with over 1 billion views on YouTube, which has inspired Co-founders Damian Rolvink and David Palmer of Marvelous NFTs to create a blockchain game, NFT marketplace and ecosystem based on the characters in the series, pulling them, along with their ungraceful tactics, hilarious clumsiness and silly antics into the blockchain gaming space.
Marvelous NFTs Presents: Bad Days the Game
After the massive success of the Bad Days YouTube series, the team that created Marvelous NFTs has recently announced the launch of Bad Days the game. Bad Days is a decentralized application that runs on the Ethereum network utilizing the Polygon Layer-2 protocol to avoid those pesky gas fees where users can own, buy, sell, collect, upgrade, battle, and play unique limited edition digital assets from the Bad Days universe in an exciting player vs player strategy duelling game.
Bad Days is a fun and interactive gaming dApp giving users the ability to build and customize their heroes, levelling up and modifying them to provide players with an immersive and multi-dimensional way to customize their strategies. Players can enter tournaments and test their skills against other players, claiming riches from leaderboard rewards.
By entering different battle environments, players will be able to earn a range of items used to unlock special abilities and upgrade their characters, all being tradable as NFTs in the Bad Days Marketplace. Each character will have an elemental stone, which will provide them with an environmental advantage, providing a unique feature, setting Bad Days apart from other strategy games.
Blockchain Gaming has absolutely exploded in popularity recently and for good reason. An estimated 1/3rd of the global population are considered “gamers,” with cryptocurrency and blockchain gaming stepping in to revolutionize the industry in ways never-before thought possible, through the play-to-earn gaming model and the ability to truly own your in-game assets.

That’s right. The Bad Days NFT game will utilize the Play-to-Earn gaming model, seen in other popular blockchain games like Axie Infinity, where players worldwide have enjoyed life-changing wealth by simply gaming. 2021 introduced the world to a new economic model and ways people can earn an income by simply playing blockchain games. From the United States to the Philippines, people are quitting jobs in droves to be able to make an income by gaming. This trend is growing exponentially, providing projects in the play-to-earn space with mind-blowing growth potential. It isn’t hard to see why people would instead earn an income playing games than staring at boring spreadsheets sitting in offices all day.
Bad Days will use a similar model where players can win tokens and NFTs with real-world value by engaging in battles, leveling up, and selling their NFTs in the Bad Days Marketplace.

About Bad Days
Bad Days provides gamers with engaging and unique gameplay to further bring to life the entertaining, less-than-ideal situations that many of our favourite superhero characters get themselves into on their worst days. The Marvelous NFTs team has created a one-of-a-kind, NFT play-to-earn strategy player vs player battling game that takes place in a universe where superheroes and villains alike just can’t seem to catch a break.
Players will be able to engage in PvP battles, manic 3v3 battle royales and tournaments where players will earn rewards and NFTs that enable them to level up and customize their characters. Bad Days is unique in many of their features, providing a more immersive and multi-dimensional aspect to traditional strategy duelling games through features like the elemental stones, which provide characters with different attributes depending on the stone cycle, and character fusion features.
The Bad Days Marketplace is where all the buying, selling and trading will happen for NFTs earned, purchased or won in the game. The NFTs will have different classifications based on their rarity level, providing gamers and investors alike the opportunity to take part in capitalizing from being able to buy, sell, collect and HODL their favourite NFTs.
The Team Behind the Bad Days Game
The Bad Days game was conceptualized and founded by a team who are passionate about superheroes, humour, gaming and crypto.
Damian Rolvink — CEO of Marvelous NFTs
Damian has accumulated over 20 years of experience in engineering, building and project management, specialising in government-funded projects. Getting into blockchain and crypto in 2014, Damian was an early adopter, being drawn in by the many trading opportunities available in the space. Like many of us, it didn’t take him long to discover the new world of online communities and innovation in blockchain technology. Being a gaming enthusiast, Damian found himself particularly interested in blockchain gaming and the NFT space, inspiring him towards the creation of this project.
David Palmer — Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder of Marvelous NFTs
David has 25 years of experience as a supervisor and manager of teams, holding the position of lead supervisor for a construction company. David was first introduced to the space with day trading crypto and soon enjoyed the opportunity to engage with the industry full time. In 2018, David had started producing promotional and marketing videos for a diverse range of blockchain projects and companies, establishing a large network of project leaders and team contacts. Being particularly enthused about NFT gaming projects, exploit testing and assisting alpha and beta processes, along with being an avid collector of Marvel comics and memorability for many years, accumulating over 20,000 NFTs himself, co-founding Marvelous NFTs was a natural evolution for him.
Liam S Lothman- Chief Marketing Officer for Marvelous NFTs
Liam is a self-made businessman, and combined his years of business and marketing knowledge, along with his love for crypto and Dapps to bring a wealth of knowledge to the Marvelous NFTs team. After launching a successful crypto community management company in 2019 (SlothlyD co.) Liam has worked with some of the biggest blockchain companies and after successfully bringing projects such as “BlackBeard Willy,” to the main stage, Liam is a vital part of the Marvelous NFTs team.
