What is your long term goal for Sheesha Finance?
Saeed Hareb Al Darmaki (founder): The most ambitious goal is to have a DAO entity legally set up and controlling the platform. Generating maximum returns for stakers an essential goal also.
What problem are you solving?
Saeed: The need for people new to DeFi not to have to do as much market research before getting exposure. Sheesha Finance provides a one-stop solution to diversify your exposure to Defi.
How does Sheesha Finance generate revenue?
Saeed: We do not charge fees like traditional funds do. We gain by the SHEESHA token gaining value as we have a small allocation of 85,000 tokens on each chain.
What is your mission and how will you market Sheesha Finance?
Benjamin Leff (COO): The biggest mission is to provide a quality portfolio of projects to people by simply staking our token. As for marketing, we have been working with some of the top firms on the planet to make sure we have proper PR and social media coverage.
Which areas are you focussing on?
Ben: DeFi and staking, we do not want to reinvent the wheel so we are partnering with some of the best projects in the industry to help expand the ecosystem.
What value do you aim to add to the crypto industry that will bring greater abundance to the industry?
Ben: By partnering with 90+ projects, that’s right we are speaking with 90 projects at the moment 😉 we believe that awareness of the entire DeFi and blockchain industries will increase, which ultimately drives the value of everything up for everyone as more people participate in the ecosystem and join quality projects.
With all the yield farming hype, a lot of tokens are offering ridiculously high APY on liquidity staking. How does the Sheesha project compare, and why would an investor choose it over other yield farming opportunities?
Ben: Because we offer more reasonable and sustainable APYs as opposed to the “get rich quick” model. We believe that quality and value are built over time, not in one night or day or month.
Where do you get the Sheesha name?
Ben: Smoking sheesha is a communal event and very popular in the Middle East, it has since grown in popularity around the world. Although we are a very serious team, we wanted the name to be a bit playful but have meaning behind it, which is that of community.
Who is your investor?
Ben: The community is our investor. We had two LGEs which anyone could participate in. Through them, we raised $9.44 million in 12 days.
How will people determine the value of Sheesha?
Ben: Partnerships as the products and token price are derivatives of the quality of our partnerships.
How does the Sheesha price matter?
Saeed: Price is key. We use the reserve allocation to liquidate tokens and invest in projects.
What’s the team’s plan for 2021?
Saeed: DeFi is going to be huge and is just getting started. It is disrupting CeFi which has trillions of dollars.
How will you spread the project around the world?
Ben: As the project grows we plan to create communities and translations of our site in multiple languages. We also hope to have global ambassadors around the world to help implement this for us.
Is your platform suitable for crypto beginners?
Ben: We have made it as easy as possible to participate. So all you need to do is stake our SHEESHA token and you will receive SHEESHA rewards and rewards from other projects.
As Education for cryptocurrency is necessary nowadays, what’s your plan to attract those people who don’t know about cryptocurrency?
Saeed: We plan to create our own video tutorials on DeFi and crypto then about Sheesha Finance.

What do you think about the boom of NFTs?
Ben: NFTs are a passion of mine and we made sure to incorporate them into our ecosystem. How does Sheesha Finance protect privacy?
Ben: Our project requires you only connect a Metamask wallet. We do not collect personal information of any kind. All we can see is a wallet address and the number of SHEESHA tokens inside the wallet, just like anyone can see as it is public information on the blockchain.
