We have recently decided to launch an ask me anything (AMA) series where we will have the honour of inviting the founders of some of our partner projects to an AMA session where our community can get involved, ask some questions, and get to know some of the amazing and innovative partners that we work with.
For our first AMA session, we invited the CEO and Co-Founding team of our partner Marvelous NFTs to have a chat with us regarding their project Bad Days to get an insider look into this incredible looking NFT blockchain play-to-earn game.
About Bad Days
Bad Days is a blockchain-based NFT player vs player strategy duelling game that is based on the legendary Stan Lee’s hilarious cartoon series on YouTube, called Bad Days, which can be found on the channel Marvelous TV.
The cartoon features some of our favorite superheroes in less than heroic situations, reminding us that everybody has their Bad Days and, “D’oh!” moments. Bad Days gives us a hilarious, creative, and imaginative glimpse of the moments in superheroes’ daily lives where they are not so “super.”
After the massive success of the Bad Days YouTube series, the team that founded Marvelous NFTs have launched Bad Days the game. Bad Days is a fun and interactive game that gives users the ability to own, buy, sell, collect, upgrade, battle with, and play as unique limited edition digital NFT assets from the Bad Days universe in an exciting player vs player strategy duelling game.
Players can build and customize their heroes, levelling up and modifying them, providing players with an immersive and multi-dimensional way to customize strategies to defeat other players and show finally who the strongest superhero is. Players can enter tournaments and test their skills against other players, earning the in-game currency MNFT as well as in-game NFTs for participating on the gaming platform.

Damian could you please start by introducing yourself. What is your experience with Bad Days and the wider crypto world?

First, I would Like to thank the Sheesha team for hosting today.
Hi all, my name is Damian, CEO of Marvelous NFTs and Co-founder of Bad Days, also joining us tonight is David our COO and Co-Founder and Liam our CMO.
For the previous 15 years I have been project manager for government funded organisations. I first discovered blockchain and cryptocurrency early in 2014, drawn in by the many trading opportunities available. I soon discovered a new world of online communities and innovation in technology utilising blockchain and financial utilities. As a gaming enthusiast, I was particularly interested in the blockchain gaming and NFT space. I began to research and participate in the early evolutions and developments of new blockchain gaming concepts and economics.

As we know, Bad Days is an animation series created by the legendary Stan Lee.
Can you tell us a little bit more about its origins and what it has been inspired by?

Bad Days is an animated series Launched on Stan Lees world of Heroes YouTube Later renamed MarvelousTV. The cartoons feature different fictional heroes and villains on some of the worst days of their lives. There is almost no dialogue involved, just hilarious situations and Shout outs.
The series started with Disassembled, depicting several little mishaps in the Marvel universe. After the success of this first short a total of 36 episodes and 4 series followed and the inspiration for the Bad Days blockchain game.

Can you tell us what Bad Days is all about?
Give us any details on how the game is going to work, how players can evolve their characters within it, and how they can make profit by playing it?

Bad Days is a CCG based strategy game including a range of playable character NFTs that is each scalable by how the owner chooses to level up and equip superpowers and accessories, each player will develop their own strategies and individual approach, creating a diverse and fun battle experience.
Game modes include PVE, PVP and 3V3 Brawl. Player progression and character building are key elements to a successful outcome within the battle arenas. The MNFT utility token is rewarded to battle winners and feeds into the season leader boards. #Hint, you will want to be in the top 20 of the season leader boards. Maybe you don’t have the time to play? you could consider lending your assets to another user and share in the spoils.

Please tell us why you chose to launch the game as a crypto project, and what your plans are for taking over the gaming and NFT industry?

The blockchain space is experiencing an exciting new phase for gaming and tech concept development, For the founders of the project, it was a great opportunity for brand expansion and exploring a new industry. With our collective passions for collectibles/crypto and gaming, it was a no-brainer choice.
The Bad Days team has combined these passions and created a diverse scalable and fun gaming environment, and we look forward to continued growth within the industry. We are working with a range of talented partners and look forward to sharing the experience and growth with our communities.

When will the game go live and can our community start signing up for it yet?

We plan to roll out the first battle arenas soon after the MNFT token launch followed by the new additional updates we have been working on. Currently, our MVP is live hosting the Marvelous NFT Marketplace and enabled character fusion for the hardcore gamers to get a head start levelling up in preparation for battle.

How do you plan to utilize that to boost your game, token, and NFTs?

The Marvelous team has focused not only on the crypto educated but also on non-crypto user base adoption and plan to introduce the existing fan base to Blockchain gaming, NFT ownership, and the new play-to-earn concepts.
The ecosystem is designed to onboard and remove the difficult barriers to entry that a non-crypto user would experience. With this in mind, we can educate and create a whole new generation of adoption.

With that in mind, can you share with us any other marketing plans that might help you reach an even larger audience?

One huge key point is the Bad Days partnership program. This was created to bring communities from partner projects into the Bad Days gaming ecosystem and create synergies between communities, could you imagine a brand-new character introduced to the bad Days game coming from an external game or NFT series? The completive nature of community-supported projects all battling for glory will be exciting to see. As a bonus, our partner projects feed rewards pools with their own native tokens creating a diverse earning opportunity for the player base. Together with key opinion leaders and our Marketing partner projects, we have lots of new and exciting updates to share.

The Bad Days team started off small with the 3 founders, our graphics artists Angelo, and our development team. As we faced new challenges we began to expand. The biggest heroes of our team are certainly our artists and dev team, we the founders are quite demanding and expect a lot from our team, some would suggest sometimes over the top!! Our CMO Liam is amazing and manages our media and content creation working closely with our community CMs and administration. Collectively, the team and advisors keep us in line and create a powerhouse dynamic that pulled this project together. What powers are available? What is the rarity breakdown of your Bad Days Characters (BDC) NFTs and how do they help players progress?
Team @ Marvelous NFTs:
Each character has its own battle deck featuring a range of superpowers relevant to the individual character, these powers can be built on via the fusion process where you can transfer battle cards from one superhero to another, by creating a diverse battle deck players will have the advantage in the battle arena. There are 5 levels and 5 rarities, Common-Uncommon-Rare-Legendary and Mythic. Levels increase attribute strength and rarity increases health bonus. Each aspect is critical when facing your opponent.

What does your roadmap hold in store for 2022 as a gaming platform and crypto project?

We have a lot of plans and updates coming in the future, here are a few: NFT farming, MNFT LP Staking, Guilds and Land Scholarship programs, Memorabilia Marketplace, Partner Integrations, and the biggest of all, the Marvelous Meta Verse- A 3d VR/AR interactive battle environment. Most of all, we love to hear community feedback and what they would like to see in the Bad Days ecosystem as we move forward in our endeavours.

Many NFT games require extremely high entry fees. Thus, making it very hard for newcomers to participate in the project as well as limiting community development. So, do you guys have a way to make Bad Days easily accessible without spending too much capital?

Great question, Bad Days has a very low entry cost but not all can afford to buy NFTs to play games. With that in mind, we wanted to lower the barrier to entry even further by opening NFT lending where an owner can lend an asset to another and expose them to the play to earn economies. Through player progression and in-game earning, the lenders will soon have the resources to obtain their own assets and play independently.
